Dr. Hasan Nowarah: “19 Activists Killed Not 9″

Freed Free Gaza Activist, Dr. Hasan Nowarah, Justice for Palestine Center in Glasgow: First Hand Witness Account of Israeli Attack and Raid on Flotilla / Turkish Marmara Ship
An activist caught up in the storming of the Gaza aid flotilla by Israeli soldiers has described the attack after arriving home in Scotland.

Last updated 2 Jun 2010 – 3:15 pm
Glasgow resident Hasan Nowarah was one of at least four Scots with the convoy when it was taken by commandos. Theresa McDermott, from Edinburgh, Hassan Ghani, from Glasgow, and Ali El-Awaisi, from Dundee, were also onboard.

Mr Nowarah, chairman of the Justice for Palestine Centre in Glasgow, was deported from Israel on Tuesday night after the flotilla was intercepted. He flew into London and then made his way home to Glasgow.

He said Israeli ships surrounded the convoy on Saturday night before the attack, playing “cat and mouse games” with the Mavi Marmara ship. He said: “The warships and their zodiacs were approaching us slowly, slowly, but no confrontation. They were communicating with our captains through the radios, warning us to turn back. But we explained to them we are in the international water. We are not attacking Israel, we are humanitarian aid, we are sailing to Gaza.”

Mr Nowarah then saw Israeli soldiers storm the Mavi Marmara ship before they boarded the ship he was on.

1933 Germany vs. 2009 Israel

“The ‘main surprise’ of the recent Israeli elections Avigdor Lieberman is a man who really has much in common with Adolph Hitler.”

By Khalid Amayreh

Journalist — Occupied Palestine
Editor’s note: The rise of the rightwing in Israel through the recent Knesset elections that was preceded by the bloody war on Gaza — which left more than 1,300 dead most of them are women and children — has aroused a lot of criticism among Palestinians. Khalid Amayreh opines about the rise of Lieberman.

In the early 1930s, many in Germany saw the Nazis as the wave for the future. Thousands of new members joined the Nazi party, giving absolute allegiance to the Fuhrer, Adolph Hitler. In the spring of 1932, with six million unemployed, chaos in Berlin, starvation and ruin as well as the threat of Marxism, and a very uncertain future, the masses turned to Hitler by the millions.

In the German presidential elections, which took place on March 13, 1932, Hitler received over 11 million votes or 30 percent of the total. His opponent, President Hindenburg, received more than 18 million votes or 49 percent.

With Hindenburg failing to get the absolute majority he needed, Hitler seized the opportunity and immediately embarked on a frantic campaign, arousing national feelings and promising something for everyone. In the Third Reich, he said, every German girl would find a husband.

- “Orang Yahudi diperbolehkan berdusta menipu Ghoyim (non-Yahudi)” (Baba Kamma 113a)

IOF warplanes blast a number of targets in Gaza

By InfoPalestina.com
RAFAH, (PIC)– Israeli warplanes blasted a number of targets along the Gaza Strip borders with Egypt and in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza late on Friday night.

Security sources told PIC reporter that the Israeli warplanes launched four raids on the border area in the vicinity of Rafah crossings along with a number of suburbs in Rafah city.

Six Palestinians were wounded in two Israeli aerial raids on Jabalia at midnight Friday after a warehouse containing wood was blasted in downtown Jabalia. The warehouse was completely burnt while nearby houses were damaged, security sources said.

Adian Husaini : Mengalahkan Yahudi

Paling jauh melakukan aksi demonstrasi, membakar bendera Israel dan AS. Setelah itu, diam.

Oxfam: Israel blocks half of Gaza need

[ 03/02/2009 - 04:02 PM ] – palestineinfo.co.uk

GAZA, (PIC)– The British organization Oxfam international accused Israel of barring the arrival of more than 50 percent of the Palestinian citizens’ needs in the Gaza Strip through the closure of border crossings despite the disastrous situation of Palestinians there which was further aggravated by the war.

Commenting on the UN efforts to raise funds for Gaza, Oxfam said, in a statement received Tuesday by the PIC, money alone could not solve the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.

“It is not enough for donor countries to reach out for their check books. They must also press Israel to open up the border crossings and make sure their aid money is used effectively,” Oxfam executive director Jeremy Hobbs said.

Can the Muslims live in peace in Palestine?

Questions :
I am speaking under correction. Please do correct me if I don’t have my facts right:
According to The Bible there is no country such as Israel, only Palestine. The Jew and the Arab, both stemming from Abraham is in fact half brothers. So why can they not live in harmony in a new country called Palestine?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

Your question may be answered by the following points:

There is no doubt that the Prophet of Allaah Ibraaheem (Abraham) was a pure monotheist, and he was not among the polytheists and disbelievers. Although the Jews are among the offspring of Ibraaheem (peace be upon him), they went against his way by associating partners in worship with Allaah and claiming that ‘Uzayr (Ezra) was a “son of God.” They said that God is miserly and that His hand is “tied up”, and they said, “He is poor and we are rich.” They also said that when God created the heavens and the earth in six days, He got tired, so He rested on the Sabbath day – exalted be Allaah far above all that they say about Him. They also likened the attributes of God to human attributes (anthropomorphism) and killed the Prophets, etc., etc.

Doctors Document Gaza Horrors

A team of Arab doctors who rushed to the rescue of thousands of civilians injured during Israel’s 22-day onslaught against the sealed off Gaza Strip are coming back with heart-breaking stories of horror and never-seen-before injuries.

“The destruction and death I saw in front of my bare eyes were unprecedented in human history,” Mohamed el-Sheriey, an Egyptian doctor, told a joint press conference on Sunday, January 25.

“They couldn’t even be masterminded by the most evil-minded of fiction writers.”

Arabs hope for Obama change, Israelis expect more of same

21 January 2009 – Yahoo News
Arabs were hopeful on Wednesday that President Barack Obama will make changes to US policy on the Middle East, in stark contrast to Israel in the wake of the Jewish state’s deadly assault on Gaza.

“This region is looking forward to your handling of the Palestinian cause from the first day of your tenure,” Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said in a cable to congratulate Obama on his inauguration.

“It is an urgent priority and the key to all the other difficult crises of the Middle East,” said Mubarak, whose country is hoping to negotiate a lasting ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas.

History did not begin with the Qassams
By Amira Hass (Haaretz.com)

Hamas Claims ‘Great Victory’

A senior Hamas official has described the Gaza conflict as a “great victory” for Palestinians.

In a televised speech Ismail Haniya, the Prime Minister appointed by Hamas in Gaza, said: “God has granted us a great victory, not for one faction, or party, or area, but for our entire people.

“We have stopped the aggression and the enemy has failed to achieve any of its goals.”

    • Does Israel seek War or Peace? June 3, 2011
Gaza, (Pal Telegraph) - Successive Israeli governments have failed to achieve peace with the Palestinians. The reasons were sometimes vague, while in other times they were crystal clear.
